Conveniently located next to the Grand Casino Helsinki, the Finnish National Theatre and the Museum of Contemporary Art, is the historical Radisson BLU Plaza. The foundation stone of the present building was laid in 1917 and is now protected by the Helsinki City Museum. Radisson BLU Plaza Hotel has managed to maintain its fine old traditions and architectural origins, such as the beautiful painted glass windows, while merging them with modern amenities. From its convenient location in the heart of Helsinki, Radisson BLU Plaza Hotel is close to all major transport connections and the Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport, which is only a 30 minute drive away.
